Many global buyers confuse the relationship between ESBR, SSBR, and HSBR. In fact, all three belong to the SBR family but are classified by completely different dimensions: ESBR and SSBR are divided by polymerization process, while HSBR is defined by high styrene content.ESBR (Emulsion SBR) is produced via water-based emulsion polymerization, featuring wide molecular weight distribution, excellent processability, and low comprehensive cost. It is the best choice for cost-sensitive mass production, including general tires, footwear, and industrial rubber goods. It is the core material for green tires and EV tires.HSBR (High-Styrene SBR) is a special modified SBR with a styrene content of 40%–70%.
